Late news – China Olympic Games 2008 2-24 August

I was cleaning up my computer and found some stuff I hadn’t posted. This one is from the cycling events. It’s quite ironic that the most technological advanced games they still used a petrol/gas powered bicycle to control the races. You would expect electric power at the least to avoid the polluting the competitors.

Don’t know if all cycling events have this sort of ‘motorcycle’ to lead the competitors onto the track.

Beijing Olympics Games 2008 is finally on – don’t expect to much new stuff to be posted on the websites over the next few weeks. Regardless of the issues many countries and people have with China no one should forget the idea of the games in the first place.

Don’t forget the significance of the 08-08-08 date!

Maybe things over there will change – hopefully for the better for everyone. ENJOY the games!!!

It is so true last year all the so called professionals said the budget was fantastic yet they clearly missed the obvious and impending sub-prime mortgage crisis. You just can’t trust anyone these days.
