Release this year the new CX-30 is definitely good high rise hatchback rather than a SUV. The CX-30&#8217;s upmarket interior and exterior quality means it can be compared with other high rise hatchbacks that claim to be SUV. One of the highest levels of &#8216;upmarketness&#8217; &#8211; don&#8217;t think that&#8217;s a real word is the recently released 2 generation Mercedes Benz GLA. With the CX-30 and the GLA experience still fresh we finish decided to post this comparison.<\/p>\n<p>Mazda CX-30 Vs Mercedes Benz GLA exterior comparison: Ultimately neither truly car has stands out of the crowd styling. The CX-30 does look sporty but in a conventional way. The GLA is a conservative design with similar lines to the CX-30 or any other new Japanese hatchback, like the Corolla for example. The GLA does have optional styling packages and arguably needs it, while the CX-30 currently does not. However that is what the market for the brand wants from their cars these days&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Mazda CX-30 Vs Mercedes Benz GLA interior comparison: The CX-30 has a very good interior that feels great to be in for the price range. The best way to describe it is that it has a evolved Japanese style design. While the entry level GLA trim is best described as CX-30 in look and feel but the higher level trims are very flashy. It was only a decade ago that Mercedes interiors where best described understated but no more. The interior design from the top range S Class has filtered down to the GLA but the quality of materials is not to at the same level.\u00a0In the end the entry level GLA interior is still mostly pretty good but surprisingly, the price equilivent top range CX-30 interior is just as nice which is a credit to Mazda.<\/p>\n<p>Mazda CX-30 Vs Mercedes Benz GLA engine and technology comparison: No doubt the 2020 GLA is a tech powerhouse when optioned. It has all the safety systems you can think of, engine options that do not use turbo tuning for small incremental upgrades. (The turbo tuning rip off in the VW range is why you should not buy a VW.) \u00a0While it makes the CX-30 features list look little underwhelming there is a significant price difference.
