The current Navara has been round since 2014 and apart from a facelift, underbody improvements and various special equipment packs it still looks the same. It will probably stay this way until the new model arrives that is shared with Renault and Mitsubishi. The latest D-Max is also a shared model but this time with Mazda, GM in the US and various Chinese brands.<\/p>\n<p>Isuzu D-Max vs Nissan Navara exterior comparison: The Navara has always been a good looking ute and it has stood the test time, that said it is quite a different but evolved look compared to the original Navara model. The D-Max is a good looking ute as well but it&#8217;s not exactly a departure from it&#8217;s predecessor. We have no preference as both are ultimately conservative and could be from either brand if the badges where remove<\/p>\n<p>Isuzu D-Max vs Nissan Navara interior comparison: The Navara interior has always been pretty good and this one is no different and it looks and mostly feels good albeit having a &#8216;Pulsar&#8217; or &#8216; Qashqai&#8217; ambience.. The new D-Max interior big step up from the model it replaces, looking and feeling more car like than the last model but again in the same class as a &#8216;Qashqai&#8217; for example. Interestingly both have space for a larger center screen but choose to use small ones. While the side buttons distract smallness of the screen in the Navara the D-Max has a cheap looking and feel plastic coating.\u00a0 Neither are upmarket interiors but they are good places to be in for commercial vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Isuzu D-Max vs Nissan Navara engine and technology comparison: The Navara has two main options with he twin turbo diesel being the standout in terms of tech but not power. The D-Max has a decent and all new engine with industry standard output although with high capacity indicting there&#8217;s more in it than the conservative tuning it currently has. It may indicate greater longevity than the Navara versions as well. While the Navara has few safety systems to promote the D-Max has all the modern safety systems (model grade dependent) you&#8217;d expect in a regular car including auto emergency brakes.<\/p>\n<p>The winner of the Isuzu D-Max vs Nissan Navara is the new D-Max. The D-Max had a good reputation in terms of reliability and durability which is paramount in this class. It also has safety systems generations beyond what in on offer in the current Navara.
