Once again it&#8217;s a comparison between old and new. The current ASX is an ancient model arriving before many of the other manufacturers and outlasting all of its small SUV rivals. The exterior refresh last year (it&#8217;s 3rd) was a great effort and looks mostly like a new model. The ASX interior design may be a generation or two in design and it looks older but it is a nicer place to be in than the Yaris Cross. We call it character rather than older.<\/p>\n<p>Toyota Yaris Cross Vs Mitsubishi ASX engine and technology: The Yaris Cross has the most advanced engine and safety options available as all new models in 2021 should. The ASX doesn&#8217;t quite have the same spec sheet in terms of engines and refinement but at least as competitive safety systems.
