New for 2021 as a 2022 model year the Hyundai Tucson is a high profile model thanks largely to it’s contemporary smart exterior and interior styling. The CX-5 was and still is one of the benchmarks in the small to medium sized SUV class and with a wide price range that covers the same potential buyers as the Tucson.<\/p>\n

Hyundai Tucson Vs Mazda CX-5 exterior: The CX-5 is a good looking, with sporty sheetmetal on the outside. Strangely though, the design doesn’t appeal to certain countries that prefer more conservative looking SUVs. The new Tucson design it a little too adventurous for most and a brave step by Hyundai to release. It is a deliberate design – as it is hard to believe that the unattractive tail light design are an accident? We appreciate it’s design but it is challenging to look at and if it represents the future as per their advertising it looks a little cheap…<\/p>\n

Hyundai Tucson Vs Mazda CX-5 interior: The CX-5 interior is a decent place to be in regardless of model grade. That said the all black and grey interior in many of the lower model grades don’t give off an uplifting environment. Our views on the Tucson interior is that it is nice but as good as it could have been and ultimately a parts bin. It just doesn’t feel like it’s worth the asking price. The top grade model with the digital instrument panel and leather seat pattern don’t add to the ambience. As a side note, wool seat fabric in either model would have lifted the feeling than the chemical tinged leather.<\/p>\n

The Tucson is underdone for the asking price so you would only buy it if you liked the way it looks on the outside.<\/p>\n
