This is Honda HR-V Vs Mitsubishi ASX comparison for 2022. It’s a comparison of two former competitors based on price and size. However HR-V has now moved up the price and size ladder although not that much more of a size difference. We think these two are still competitors despite the price different as arguably a top range ASX buyer will probably would have considered the entry level HRV at some point in their purchasing decision.<\/p>\n

Honda HR-V Vs Mitsubishi ASX exterior comparison: As we’ve said before the ASX looks great for such an old basic design. If Mitsubishi can keep the price down it would continue to do well. The new HRV on the other hand has a conservative design hence ordinary and it will age quite quickly. The HRV does have some sort of style to it but you wouldn’t rate it significantly above the ASX that’s for sure.<\/p>\n

Honda HR-V Vs Mitsubishi ASX interior comparison: The HRV looks and feels pretty good. It does have a retro and ZEN vibes which we appreciate. We like that there are still analogue dials and a display screen in the dash. It’s just classier than the clone digital screen design used by other manufacturers. That said the all screens computer style instruments are impressive but they all look the same. If you get one with the dead pixels becomes especially annoying.\u00a0 In comparison the ASX is clearly an older design to look at and touch. The mid to top end models really need better materials to justify the price tag.<\/p>\n

The conclusion and winner of the Honda HR-V Vs Mitsubishi ASX comparison is the ASX. If you are on a budget the ASX is the best small and affordable SUV to buy – although it is far from ‘perfect’. If it wasn’t as affordable it would not win the comparison. That said it looks better than HR-V too. The main factor we considered was weather the HRV was generally worth at least $12000 more than the ASX and the answer is no.<\/p>\n
