This is Honda HR-V Vs Honda CR-V comparison for 2022. Based on price alone the Honda HR-V has literally crossed over into Honda CR-V pricing territory. As a result a comparison is certainly required as many would compare both during the buying process. So which one do we think it worth buying over the other?<\/p>\n

Honda HR-V Vs Honda CR-V exterior comparison: We like the CRV styling and still looks contemporary by 2022 standards. The new HRV does not look related to CRV in fact the HRV has more in common with the last Mitsubishi Lancer liftback\/hatchback. We are quite confident to predict that the HRV will not be selling based on looks.<\/p>\n

Honda HR-V Vs Honda CR-V interior comparison: Both have quite different design languages. The CRV has a good looking well designed\u00a0 interior, it feels good to be in. The HRV is a modern retro re-interpretation of older 70’s Honda designs with Zen like elements. It’s very similar to the new Honda Civic in terms of design. The HRV is surprisingly spacious for passengers despite the smaller size. Overall we prefer the CRV for some reason.<\/p>\n

Honda HR-V Vs Honda CR-V engines and tech comparison: The HR-V has all the latest safety and the optional hybrid engine option which takes the lead over the current but older but contemporary turbo petrol in the CRV. There is truly nothing ground breaking or exceptional about either car. That said the hybrid engine option on the HR-V makes it a winner on paper.<\/p>\n

The conclusion and winner of the Honda HR-V Vs Honda CR-V comparison is the CR-V. The HR-V is expensive for what it is and it doesn’t help that it looks out of date. It may look to be a cure for other brands over indulgence of self claimed futuristic designs. The CR-V design still looks good inside and out but it is only mid-range grade CRV that is worth looking at due to it’s class average safety systems in 2022.<\/p>\n
