The Jeep Gladiator has been around for a few years now and was initially a highly anticipated model as it&#8217;s the only new Jeep with a tray. So how does it compare with the new Ford Ranger released late last year?<\/p>\n<p>Ford Ranger vs Jeep Gladiator exterior comparison: Simply put the Jeep Gladiator is a great looking ute and easily out out shines the new Ford Ranger. The Gladiator is easily identified as a Jeep Wrangler with a tray and styling and proportions a priority more than anything else. It&#8217;s huge in size and road presence. The Ford Ranger was designed for utility and it looks it.<\/p>\n<p>Ford Ranger vs Jeep Gladiator interior comparison: The interior of the Ranger is really nice dependent on model grade of course. It is spacious and with Ok fit and finish. We consider it like a Corolla sized interior in feel. Aka it is ultimately quite a normal sort of design. In comparison the Jeep Gladiator is a evolution of the regular Renegade model but with higher end trim. As a retro inspired like a Mini but enough bits and pieces and token switches and design elements. The safety and gadget package which are model grade specific are pretty decent too but nothing out of the ordinary we can write about. The Jeep only has one engine choice in the country and it pretty decent on its own but when attached to the heavy weight Gladiator body it is somewhat on the ordinary side of performance. We think is surpasses that of the Ford Ranger despite the Ranger being a nicer to live with and more reliable.
