The Kia Sportage is a better version than the Hyundai Tucson but it is not better than the Qashqai. So how does the underbody twin of Hyundai, the Kia Sportage compare to the Nissan Qashqai?

Nissan Qashqai Vs Kia Sportage exterior comparison: The Qashqai is a nice looking car no question. However it is ultimately a conservative design in the next few years. Just too many existing design themes used by too many other brands. The Sportage also a nice looking car no question and much better than the Hyundai donor. It will probably look newer for longer. They also look very much alike if you ignore the front end treatment. We also think it is a better looking design than the Qashqai.

Nissan Qashqai Vs Kia Sportage interior comparison: We like the Sportage interior design. It’s looks and feels good for the price. However if you take away the screens it would look very much like the Qashqai. Likewise in terms of size there is little difference although technically the Qashqai is slightly smaller. Both are decent places to be in and in the end it is literally a superficial judgement on which one is ultimately the better one for you.

Nissan Qashqai Vs Kia Sportage engine and technology comparison: In 2023 neither SUV as tech that is out of the ordinary. Likewise the engines are modern but there are no hybrids or electric variants in this country at the time of this review. Features are dependent on model grade which varies hence hard to compare specific model grades. That said many complaints about the gearbox on the Sportage and Tucson so you’ll have to do some more research on the problems or test drive one for yourself.

The conclusion and winner of the Nissan Qashqai Vs Kia Sportage comparison is neither. This means that neither model has features that compel us to choose to buy one model over another. Although we would be the Sportage for it’s more contemporary looks there are questions over the DCT gearbox. In the end buy the one you like the look of more, has more features for the price.

<td style="text-align: left;
