This is the GWM Haval Jolion Vs Hyundai Venue comparison for 2024. An often forgotten small SUV is the cheapest new Hyundai you can buy in 2024 and that model is the Venue. So how does the cheapest Hyundai compare to the cheapest GWM has on offer in the form of the Haval Jolion, another one of the other cheapest small SUV on sale but priced in range compare?<\/p>\n

Sure you could get used to the design as many have but is the styling sacrifice worth it compared to the more compete design represented by the Venue? That is the decision is up to you.<\/p>\n

GWM Haval Jolion Vs Hyundai Venue interior comparison: Both are entry level interiors so hard plastics everywhere but the Jolion does it better looking more contemporary and more cushioning that have been added hence more upmarket. The Venue interior is not a bad place to be in and it even has scored a new screen for the instrument panel in the last update. It also feels more spacious despite being smaller but in the end its plastics and design is looking a little ordinary compared to the nicer design of the Jolion.<\/p>\n

The Jolion gets points for having a hybrid option but loses most of it due to the rip off pricing as it costs an extra $5000-8000 at the least for a hybrid engine option. It cost the same as the entry level Yaris Cross BTW. Lots of safety systems in both models dependent on model grade of course. Of note is the annoying driver assist system in the Jolion which seems to work when you don’t need it and not absent when when you do.<\/p>\n

The Venue is a small SUV designed to be competitive for it’s time 3 years ago designed to be the cheapest small but big enough SUV for cheap run\u00a0 about car buyers. However the Venue is not as good value as the Jolion when GWM has a special offer on. We think the Venue needs to be $5000 cheaper at the very east and all the gadgets included as standard to compete. As expected the offers are not published so you have to go to the dealership for them. The Jolion has a flashier interior and more gadgets and you can’t see the awkward exterior from the inside. It’s long term durability is definitely unknown as yet. We would not buy either so another reason why neither model wins.<\/p>\n
