Both cars are based on the same design although the Kuga has been on sale for a number of year but soon to be updated.\u00a0We haven&#8217;t driven either cars at the time of posting so this page currently compares the specifications and initial impressions. We&#8217;ll expand the comparison part at a later time once we get a drive.<\/p>\n<p>The new 2012 Mazda CX-5 is the replacement for the old CX-7 and what a difference when you compare the two models. Although the CX-7&#8217;s design s a few years old it still looks current and stylish. The CX-5 on the outside is not looking as fresh as it should for an all new model. On the inside the CX-5 is a more practical setup again losing the stylish interior of its predecessor.<\/p>\n<p>The 2012 Ford Kuga is a conservative design with the usual Ford design themes. \u00a0Designed to be inoffensive we think is succeeds &#8211;
