The most obvious difference is how much larger the new Colorado is compared to the Hilux. That said the Hilux is a much older design.<\/p>\n<p>So far everything looks good except for the 5 speed manual transmission which shows reasonable development by General Motors.<\/p>\n<p>Update October 2012: There are only two things which you will probably find issues with and they are: the cheaper looking and feeling interior due to the use of odd matched grained plastics and Hilux styling clues.
