We put this comparison up because the Pajero has ben given a pricing adjustment along with additional equipment to supposedly make it better value. The new additions are largely cosmetic or nice to have rather than essential from most peoples point of view. There hasn’t been any note worthy pricing changes to the Prado except for the various dealer specials every so often.

Mitsubishi Pajero Vs Toyota Prado exterior: The only changes we noted was the more complex front grille treatment. We think its tacky you may like it? Overall the Pajero hasn’t dated too badly. The Prado has had any changes since release and there’s nothing really wrong with the design.

Mitsibushi Pajero Vs Toyota Prado interior: The interior of the Pajero has good quality materials to look at and solid to touch but it does show its age but again its not too bad. In some ways the Mitsubishi design is preferable to the Prado.

Mitsubishi Pajero Vs Toyota Prado engines and technology: Both have modern diesel engines and petrol engines. Both have known issues with the diesel engines. The Pajero’s diesel engine has more power which may help in the decision making process.

Mitsibushi Pajero Vs Toyota Prado the drive: It’s been a few years since we drove the Pajero but the ride is not as good as the Prado but probably has better steering feel since the 150 series is even lighter than the 120 series. The Prado definitely has the better ride and a more refined place to be in.

The ultimate comparison point between the two models is that the Pajero is now cheaper and has a little more equipment than the comparable Prado. The Pajero isn’t a bargain but slightly cheaper – that’s it. The main thing holding anyone back is that the Pajero is the older model hence justified by the cheaper price. Everyone likes a new car to look like a new car so it depends on your priorities. Other than that if you want to tow or go off road than either are great choices.

<td style="text-align: left;
