The Pajero Sport was released last year and it’s surprising that you don’t see too many more driving about. The new CX-9 is nearing the top of our ‘medium’ sized SUV list because it’s simply a great package. It’s the two most modern designs currently on the market and 2016 so worth a comparison.

Mazda CX-9 Vs Mitsubishi Pajero Sport exterior comparison: Both are good looking SUVs the Pajeros Sport in particular is more forward thinking design looking like a concept car at a motor show, in fact it was. We love forward thinking designs that work and the Mitsubishi is definitely one of them. Mind you it’s probably too futuristic for the conservative older SUV buyers. The Mazda CX-9 looks good and conservative at the same time next to the Pajero Sport but it is arguably very stylish. We like both but prefer the Pajero Sport in terms of exterior design.

Mazda CX-9 Vs Mitsubishi Pajero Sport interior comparison: The Pajero Sport has a nice interior, not exactly upmarket but comfy. The design is a traditional T layout with lots of gadgets in the top range model. There is little to complain about except of its traditional look and materials. The CX-9 has the latest design and materials it look and feels good. There’s lots of space and well designed and modern. We like more due to the higher quality feel.

Mazda CX-9 Vs Mitsubishi Pajero Sport engines and technology comparison: Both are quite different in terms of design. The Pajero Sport is the pick for those who want to go off road or touring around the country side without worrying about road conditions and the CX-9 is for on road transport long ot short distances. The Pajero Sport has all the latest tech and more of it compared to the CX-9 and it has 4WD and a powerful diesel engine. The Pajero Sport also has more safety tech than the CX-9 in most of the model range.

Mazda CX-9 Vs Mitsubishi Pajero Sport drive comparison: N/A

In this comparison you really cannot go past the Mitsubishi Prajero Sport in terms of packaging and pricing. The Mazda CX-9 has the arguably the latest looks and features but only for certain models which is the flaw especially compared to a fully equipped Pajero Sport for $12,000 less. The only factor that would genuinely influence your decision on which SUV to buy is the drive experience, which we are yet to do but will it be worth the price difference is up to you! But we don’t think so.

// google_ad_client = "ca-pub-2027171236681273";
