We like the Mazda CX-3 for it&#8217;s looks, pricing and overall packaging, it is one of the most popular small SUVs on sale at the moment for those reasons. The Suzuki Ignis is still a new model but we are beginning to like it more and more due to price, \u00a0packaging and that is different to all the other smallish SUVs and cars on sale. Admittedly the target market for either model is not the same, the Ignis is an affordable small car selling for under $20,000 on the road and the even includes an automatic transmission and all the latest in car connectivity. Meanwhile the Mazda CX-3 starts at $19,990 for the basic manual excluding on roads unless on special.<\/p>\n<p>Suzuki Ignis vs Mazda CX-3 exterior comparison: The CX-3 looks great, arguably one of the best looking smallish SUVs for sale at the moment and we love the design. The Suzuki Ignis is a retro inspired deign and a good looking car. Side by side they will appeal to different people but all will appreciate both designs. Does that mean that they are ultimately conservative designs since we all like them &#8211; no not for 2017 at least. Ultimately we like both designs and so will you.<\/p>\n<p>Suzuki Ignis Vs Mazda Cx-3 interior comparison: The CX-3 has the highest quality materials for the interior of any smallish SUV in the class and also looks good. The Ingis interior is a complete contrast, modern but more commercial grade, youthful are the most positive descriptions and the hard plastics actually look and feel good. The only negative is that does feel cheaper when you&#8217;ve just sat in a CX-3. Nonetheless you wouldn&#8217;t really feel too bad in the Ignis as it is the cheapest fully featured small SUV on sale at the moment. Easy win to the CX-3 as the interior punches above the class average but it is more expensive.<\/p>\n<p>Suzuki Ignis Vs Mazda CX-3 engines and technology comparison: If you&#8217;re comparing by price the Suzuki Ignis has the most tech, safety and in car connectivity compared to the similar price base model CX-3. However pay an extra approx $7000 more for the mid range CX-3 then add in another additional safety pack you \u00a0the specification list to slightly exceed the Ignis. The top range CX-3 has all the features and more but that costs $20000 more than the top range Ignis. In terms of performance the Ignis uses light weight to its advantage by having a tiny engine and CVT to give it zippy performance but only under the 80km zone.<\/p>\n<p>Suzuki Ignis Vs Mazda CX-3 drive comparison: The CX-3 drives well but it is not an SUV with softer suspension. Much is made of the CX-3 noisy interior on the road and we don&#8217;t think that it&#8217;s too noisy but it&#8217;s not a quiet experience either with a level that is not expected at this price point, we liken the levels equivalent to a Toyota Yaris on hard eco-friendly tyres!<\/p>\n<p>The winner of the\u00a0Suzuki Ignis Vs Mazda CX-3 is a draw. That&#8217;s because we cannot ignore the price difference and clearly defined packaging. The on road pricing of the Ignis is under $20000 with more features than the CX-3 and it&#8217;s not that much smaller inside. It can do everything that the CX-3 can do around the city and suburbs and you will have more fun in it too. Long highway stretches could prove a slower experience but that&#8217;s the only drawback. That said the Ignis was designed to beat congested cites, suburbs and freeways like Melbourne and Sydney and it probably does at a significant price saving. Save the money and go on a month long holiday or save the deposit on a house and have a new Ignis.
