Likewise we like the CH-R but mainly for looks and build quality. I think we’ve said it before regarding the Vitara, its a great package if you get the right model and there are always some deals going about due to the number new small SUVs for sale with just as tempting prices. Of course you’d be hard pressed to get any sort of deal on the CH-R since its been on sale for a few months in 2017 at the time of the comparison.

Toyota CH-R Vs Suzuki Vitara exterior comparison: What more can we say, the CH-R sells on looks and it arguably the best looking small SUV on sale at the moment. The Vitara is an SUV that the old Toyota would have made but didn’t it’s Ok looking with great build quality. Next to the CH-R the Vitara is looking a little older but not that old.

Toyota CH-R Vs Suzuki Vitara interior comparison: The interior of the Vitara follows the latest Suzuki design theme. It’s a simple T-bar with no funny angles or unusual elements, very conservative and traditional. The materials are mostly hard but at least the quality is above the normal you’d expect. Overall it’s a decent place to be and comfortable but could be better given that there is very little difference from the base model to the over under $40,000 top range diesel version. The interior of the CH-R uses the theme set by the latest Prius and looks and feels like a more upmarket place to be in. The materials are softer and simply more up market, with the CH-R range topping out just under $40,000 you’d expect it to be this nice.

Toyota CH-R Vs Suzuki Vitara engines and and technology comparison: Once again the CH-R has the most standard safety tech, its the class leader for 2017. The Vitara only has the usual multiple air bags and braking systems, it very overall but not class leading since the introduction of the CH-R. Engines and transmissions are the usual in the Vitara and a CVT in the CH-R. However the regular gearbox and high output turbo in the Vitara give it edge in drivability. Where the Vitara exceeds all the manufacturers at the moment in chassis design. All new Suzuki’s weight at least 100kg under their competitors which is better for fuel economy and driving with no really disadvantage.

Mazda CX-3 Vs Suzuki Vitara drive comparison: The Vitara drives really well for a small SUV one of the best we’ve driven to date (2016). Honestly there iis not much to complain about, it is fast enough regardless of engine choice but only the 1.4 turbo will keep you happy for the longer term.

The winner of the Suzuki Vitara Vs Toyota CH-R comparison is a draw. Simply put both will appeal to different buyers. The CH-R is quite expensive and you only get the good looks and safety equipment. The rest of the package is quite normal and a little on the slow side in terms of performance. Buying the Vitara, dependent on model is a equally good choice, it’s shape means more flexible space and interior material means easy maintenance unfortunately it isn’t particularly interesting to look at next to the CH-R. The optional diesel engine may also be a key selling point in the Vitara and additional performance of course.

// google_ad_client = "ca-pub-2027171236681273";
