The refreshed Qashqai is one of world&#8217;s most popular models while the Peugeot 3008 is not. That&#8217;s probably because it 1st generation Qashqai was the only one of it&#8217;s class then first released back in the 2000&#8217;s. The 3008 is a brand new model in the class that has already won mainstream motoring awards and we know already how why. We put this comparison together since they are similar in size but they are in completely different pricing categories as the top range Qashqai equates to an entry level 3008.<\/p>\n<p>Peugeot 3008 Vs Nissan Qashqai exterior comparison:\u00a0When released the Qashqai was a sporty and modern looking SUV, arguably the nicest out of the class. Sure the lines are now a little conservative but it still looks good. The 3008 is good looking SUV in a different way from the Qashqai. While the 3008 initially looks different over time we noticed that the more conventional lines come through. The side profile for example is not exactly unusual but angled and front on it does look quite different and importantly the paint job looks more upmarket.<\/p>\n<p>Peugeot 3008 Vs Nissan Qashqai interior comparison: The Qashqai interior is a nice place to be for the price. Conventional is design is the theme but it looks and feels good to be considering the price. In fact the Qashqai looks and feels better then the brand new Hyundai Kona. Unfortunately the 3008 interior is even better but you would expect that given the price. Yes, the top range Qashqai is the same price as the entry level 3008. Ambient lighting and multiple screen all make the 3008 a very good place to be in. That said there are cost cutting, like the hard plastic rear panels vs the soft ones in the front. Both SUVs are about the same size too so makes the comparison even more valid.<\/p>\n<p>Peugeot 3008 Vs Nissan Qashqai engine and technology comparison: Both have ton of safety systems as standard or optional and both have emergency auto brakes as standard across the range. The biggest difference between the 3008 and the Qashqai is the engine options in Australia. The Qashqai only has a one engine, a reasonably powerful non-turbo 2.0 lite petrol engine which the 3008 has a more powerful turbo petrol and diesel option. The Qashqai has a manual box but a CVT auto in the Qashqai is a decent but not near the capability of the regular 6 speed automatic gearbox in the 3008. The lack of Apple and Android connectivity is in the Qashqai is an obvious omission but to be completely honest the lack of the ability to use your own apps rather the standard ones using this connectivity is definitely is disappointing for both interfaces. The 3008 trump card of a fully screen based instruments and controls is a winner and will appeal to younger buyers.<\/p>\n<p>Peugeot 3008 Vs Nissan Qaashqai drive report : N\/A<\/p>\n<p>The conclusion and winner of the Peogeot 3008 Vs Nissan Qashqai comparison is neither. This was a tough comparison as the Qashqai has a lot going for it. It looks good on the inside and outside, lots of equipment and priced really well. The 3008 likewise looks good on the outside and even better on the inside.
