It’s been 9 years since the last BT-50 was released and that model was shared and badged as the Ford Ranger. Surprisingly the new Mazda BT-50 is an all new model but this time shared with Isuzu. This is the final comparison with the two models as the old on has been now been replaced and thanks to the cut in production no run out models to buy.

That said the new D-Max is not a great departure from the old D-Max. It is all much of a muchness really in terms of design. We don’t think many would care as both have ample power for normal and loaded driving. The bigger stereo screen is a great addition compare to the old even if you will find it hard to replace with a better one.
