Welcome to the Suzuki Jimny Vs Nissan Juke comparison. We like both SUVs for different reasons and it is highly likely that you will too. The Suzuki Jimny is a ancient but great little SUV for off road work and the Nissan Juke is great small SUV for on road work. Let’s face it the Nissan Juke in top range guise with the turbo engine is the fastest and best handling small SUV on the market in 2016.
Suzuki Jimny Vs Nissan Juke exterior comparison: The Jimny as we’ve covered already, it’s well proportioned we think it’s a classic sort of design at his point in time as it does not seem to age. Furthermore unlike other newer cars and SUVs it’s body panels don’t look thin and the paint quality is very good. The Nissan Juke seemed ‘outrageous’ when first released but that’s because it was ahead of its time and other brands eg. Jeep have taken clues. We think it looks great and a stand out of normal looking SUV like the Honda HR-V for example. The Juke also has optional styling packs you can get to make your own Juke stand out even more.
Suzuki Jimny Vs Nissan Juke interior comparison: The Jimny has a very normal 4WD style interior and the design and quality is pretty good by 2016 standards. The Nissan Juke has a modern interior that reflect it’s age in terms of materials and age (its good) but the design is stylish compared to other small SUVs and normal cars. Unfortunately as always forward thinking designs are not appreciated by the conservative motoring press but for normal buyers its breath of fresh air. That said in 2016 it is no longer unusual of have this sort of design.
Suzuki Jimny Vs Nissan Juke engines and technology comparison: The Nissan Juke has the most tech inside and out including the GTR derived AWD system is of course the stand out, along with tyre pressure monitoring, DAB+ radio, All round monitor etc . Unfortunately the low end model don’t have the best stuff as standard. Only the CVT gearbox spoils the package. The Suzuki Jimny doesn’t have the latest tech but at least you can add many of the options yourself.
Suzuki Jimny Vs Nissan Juke drive comparison: N/A
The winner overall is the Nissan Juke it will probably be easier to live with on a daily basis just as long as you don’t want to go off road. There is a lot of flashy tech in some models so worth a money if that is what you are after. The Jimny is quite ordinary compared to the Juke that said it will probably be around long after this model of the Juke is replaced and really not in the same class as per the other small SUVs we have been comparing it against. Since this is the last comparison for the Jimny? we can conclude that the Jimny is in a class of its own yet can do what the other small SUVs are capable although not as well but still worthy of consideration due to its one key feature of being a genuine off roader.
