This is the new Suzuki Vitara Vs Nissan Juke comparison. Continuing on with our series of the comparisons featuring the Suzuki Vitara and its competitors this time we had another look at the Nissan Juke because most of use actually like it and they are in the same price range and class. The Nissan Juke was released in 2010 so has been around for a few years but it hasn’t which is a testament to the original design. More to the point the Juke still sells really well in key markets around the world.
Suzuki Vitara Vs Nissan Juke exterior comparison: The Juke when released it was the only ‘outrageous’ mainstream car or SUV design at the time. We liked it from the start as it was completely different yet looked good at the sometime. The stronger colours make the Juke look better so avoid white please unless you don’t like modern styling. The Juke has styling clues for all Nissan models notably Z370 and Micra not that it needs them to look any better. The Suzuki Vitara looks conservative in comparison to the Juke. We still prefer the Juke’s exterior styling.
Suzuki Vitara Vs Nissan Juke interior comparison: The Vitara interior is conservative, designed for utility and made from nice looking but still hard plastics. We like but it is ordinary compared to the Juke. The Nissan Juke interior is like it’s exterior, modern and odd but good looking and fill of cool design features. Both are about the same size although the squared off Vitara arguably is more practical but not by much. The quality of materials is also better in the Juke and definitely feels nicer to be in. The instrument graphics and lighting all geeky and channels Star Trek Next Generation Enterprise. We still like the Juke interior better as there’s nothing else like it.
Suzuki Vitara Vs Nissan Juke engine and technology comparison: No question the Nissan Juke has the most technology, form the GTR inspired AWD system all round cameras, lane, blind spot, tyre pressure warning and so forth. The only thing missing in 2016 is auto braking which is fine for now… Sure on the top range Juke’s have all the features but the rest of the range is quite good too and more so than the Vitara. The Juke also has the powerful 140Kw turbo but equipped with a CVT which is annoying. Regardless the one flaw in the Juke it is not enough to help the Vitara so the the Juke wins this part of the comparison.
Suzuki Vitara Vs Nissan Juke drive comparison: We like the way the Vitara drives – 1.4 turbo being the best choice. Have not driven the Juke yet but coming soon.
The Suzuki Vitara is the SUV it has just enough of everything to justify the price tag and buyer interest but only in isolation. The Nissan Juke is an even better priced with additional interior and safety features and power for $2500 less! So the winner of the Suzuki Vitara Vs Nissan Juke comparison is the Juke easy.
