Welcome to the Nissan Juke Vs Ford Puma showroom review and spec comparison for 2021. The all new 2021 Nissan Juke and Ford Puma have been released and we definitely had to compare them. Smallish SUVs are the latest thing as more people seem to be buying them rather than hatchbacks. We think the smallish SUV trend is short term trend as we enter in to a global recession of sorts over the next few years especially if prices don’t fall. That said there will those who have been saving for a overseas holiday no longer feasible will upgrade their cars to SUVs to holiday locally. We’re comparing the two as they are much alike that we can only assume that they where built to compete.

Nissan Juke Vs Ford Puma exterior comparison: The Juke is an on trend design which os unfortunate as it now blends into the crowd of similar looking designs like it’s arch rival the Ford Puma. Since Nissan has lost it’s reliability edge it’s now only about exterior and interior styling and equipment packages. Ford exterior designs have been pretty good over the last few generations and the Puma is no exception, it’s a good looking car and we think something that Porsche or Jaguar would come up with. Looks are a personal thing, that would be one of the key factors in buying either and we think the Juke looks better. We also have to note that the Juke looks bigger and ‘chunky’ whilst the Puma slimmer despite being basically the same size.

Nissan Juke Vs Ford Puma interior comparison: The Juke interior is pretty decent these days and has more mature or quality look to it and we think as the edge on the Puma. However the Puma comes with a digital or tablet style dashboard which will impress any driver. Admittedly the Juke  is nicer to look at. The only trick the the Puma has is a digital dash which looks great but that’s it, the Juke is good all round an arguably more upmarket.

Nissan Juke Vs Ford Puma engine and technology comparison: Both offer the the latest 1 litre turbo charged 3 cylinder engines that make similar power. Safety systems are dependent on model grade and both offer adaptive cruise control which is a nice addition. A nice addition to the Puma spec sheet is the B&O branded stereo system (dependent on model grade) although we haven’t heard it yet but should be as good as the Bose in the Juke if you get the right model grade. Both have 7 speed DSG autos which could also be a long term issue. One of the few times we are concerned about long term reliably.

The conclusion and winner of the Nissan Juke Vs Ford Puma comparison is a draw. There are plenty of reasons to like both but the Juke would probably win in the end purely because the Ford has used turbo tuning trick on overseas models, which as you know by now is not fair thing to do.  We also feel the overall interior ambience in the Juke makes it a nicer place to be in although the Puma is not too bad either. Pricing for both is essentially identical – so is the For Puma worth buying over the Juke? – no. Is the Juke worth buying over the Puma – No hence a draw.
