I put this page up so that you can compare the Toyota Prado to the R51 Nissan Pathfinder or Terrano. The Pathfinder is supposed to be a direct competitor but somehow aren’t compared very often. The reason is because its priced below equivalent Prado models.
These two are very different in the flesh. While the exterior of the Pathfinder is pretty good the interior feels cheaper. It is quite expensive so you should expect a better grade of materials and design. For us if only Nissan had made a more inviting interior would we consider it much more closely.
Of course technical similarities do not always mean that superior specifications means better performance. Real life experience with both models are needed to judge properly. You can read more in our 150 series comparison.
The Nissan Pathfinder has been available in its current model R51 model cycle since 2005. There are many different versions offered in lots of countries.
Note that specifications will change according to the trim models available and additional or less accessories. You should check the official Nissan website for your country for the most up to date information.
