Welcome to our comparison of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport vs Holden Colorado 7. The Holden Colorado 7 was one of the first ute based SUVs to enter the Australian market in 2013 but it hasn’t helped the sales. On the other hand the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is one of the latest models for 2016 and new ute based based 4WD wagon. It’s no secret the the Pajero Sport is currently our favourite ute based SUV so it already has a tough task.
Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Vs Holden Colorado 7 exterior: The Colorado 7 looks just like the ute version on the front and is Ok to look at. Side on it looks old and awkward at the rear end. The lines belong to poorly designed South Korean cars when they first started making them in the 1990’s and current odd ball Chinese models. The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is sporty to look at it, referencing back to Mitsubishi’s leading edge design, the front end is really good side OK and rear odd but it all works we like it.
Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Vs Holden Colorado 7 interior: To put it simply the Colorado 7 does not have a nice interior it’s cheap to look at and feel, very basic. However it is larger than the Mitsubishi. The Pajero Sport is a nice place to be it’s like a the previous generation Camry for example, there is very little to complain about. Holden needs to update the Colorado 7 to be able to attract buyers.
Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Vs Holden Colorado 7 engines and technology: It is a easy win to the Pajero Sport as it does have features beyond anything the Colorado can offer at the moment especially in terms safety and 4WD systems. That said the Colorado does have a decent diesel engine with lots of power.
Mitsubishi Pajero Vs Holden Colorado 7 road test: Yet to drive the Pajero Sport so check back later.
The conclusion is simple, if you want a little more space and don’t mind the basic interior than the Colorado 7 is worth a look. Furthermore you can get some deals with the Colorado 7 which lowers the price noticeable… You need to ask whether the price is worth what is a basic 4WD wagon. The Pajero Sport really confirms its self as our favourite SUV at this point in time. This was not a hard comparison and we are sure you’ll come to the same conclusion.
