Toyota LandCruiser Prado Vs Jeep Grand Cherokee

I have put this page up so that you can compare the 120 series Toyota LandCruiser Prado LC4 to the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Speaking of names this one is just as odd as the ones from Japan if you think about it.

Introduced at about the same time as the Prado, the Jeep Grand Cherokee is clearly North American in design and focus. It’s key feature is the availability of a V8 engine in all markets.

The two are not compared very often for clear reasons. The Jeep is only a 5 seater and road orientated. The SRT version, the sorts performance orientated is probably one of the fastest 4wd in the world.

The Grand Cherokee is very different in the flesh and it is not the best looking vehicle around. The exterior and interior of the Jeep is not impressive and feels cheaper than the Prado.

Note that specifications will change according to the trim models available and additional or less accessories. You should check the official Jeep website for your country for the most up to date information.

Note that due to the 2007 fuel price rises and now 2008 Global Financial Crisis and that Jeep is in financial trouble it probably the cheapest they will ever get but in the end the Jeep is still more expensive than what its really worth.
