Toyota LandCruiser Prado Vs Kia Sorento


This is a brief comparison between the 120 series Toyota LandCruiser Prado and the Kia Sorento. I put this page up so that you can compare purely for personal interest reasons.

The Prado and the Kia Sorento are technically not comparable since they occupy different pricing and specification levels. The Sorrento is a bargain in terms of specification comparison to the Prado and other models not in the same class especially when you look at things like towing capacity if you do not need the extra space.

Both have ladder frames so it should be quite a tough vehicle for long term use. However the Sorento is reportedly not a good drive on or off road for various reasons.

Interior wise, even in top level trim is a tad on the basic side and material used that fits its price tag.

When compared to its logical rivals the Toyota RAV4 or the Suzuki Grand Vitara it not particularly value of money either so it is understandable why the Sorrento does not sell particularly well in this country.
