Mitsubishi Pajero Sport

Welcome to the all new Toyota Fortuner Vs Mitsubishi Pajero Sport comparison. Both are brand new models for 2016 and we where keen to check out the new Pajero Sport! The Pajero Sport joins the latest Ute based SUVs in the medium sized market along with the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Everest. Forget the Ford Everest because while a decent wagon SUV it’s overpriced, under specced with too much marketing budget which could have been better used with lower and reasonable pricing.  The real competition is between the Pajero Sport and Fortuner based on real world consumers namely us.

Toyota Fortuner Vs Mistubishi Pajero Sport exterior comparison: We like both designs, modern and yet will stay that way for many years. Some may think that they are too modern for the market but none of of are put off by either of the designs! We like the front end for the Pajero Sport more than Kluger but the rear end of the Fortuner looks better.

Toyota Fortuner Vs Mitsubishi Pajero Sport interior comparison: Contrasting interior designs in both SUVs. The Pajero Sport is very conventional but not as boring as say the most boring in the Everest. The Fortuner has a very modern interior which despite numerous design themes actually works well, we like it because its different. Untimely because the Pajero Sport is a high grade interior than the Triton it does look nice and feels Ok to be in. The Fortuner shares some design with the new Hilux but clearly this is something different, nonetheless feels equally good to be in.

Toyota Fortuner Vs Mitsubishi Pajaero Sport engines and technology: The Mitsubishi Pajero sport has the most tech out of all the current Ute based SUV even the Fortuner. It has all the latest 4WD hardware and traction system, safety equipment, engine tech, entertainment  and safety systems you’ll find in a regular luxury car easily. The highlights are the AWD system that can be used on the road if you wish, 8 speed gear box and low range, collision mitigation, multi cameras.  That said you have to get the top range version but it is great value. The Fortuner is not too badly equipped but there is nothing special to report which is typical Toyota.

Toyota Fortuner Vs Mitsubishi Pajero Sport road test: Coming soon.

In terms of specification and showroom comparisons the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is now officially our favourite model in the medium SUV class! All the features combined in a great value for money package there’s nothing else like it in class. On the other hand the Toyota Fortuner has all the basics which is great but as always the model doesn’t have all the latest features and slightly overpriced in comparison to the Pajero Sport. Of course this could change when we drive them but we think the value for money in the top range Pajero Sport will over come any issues including exterior typing if it is too modern for you – it is a winner in this comparison.
