The is a comparison between the Lincoln Navigator and the LandCruiser Prado. The two are not directly comparable due the difference in size however since it is based on a Ford platform it or it's derivatives may be introduced in Australia in 2011.

The Lincoln Navigator is based on the Ford Expedition which is the bigger version of the Ford Explorer.  The Lincoln was updated in 2007 to the shape you see here but despite that it still looks like an old car on the outside and the inside. It is a mix of 70's interior and 80 exterior clearly appealing to those who want to make a retro statement or those who don't car about driving a car that is literally a dinosaur!

Since the navigator is also based on the Ford F-series trucks don't expect handling but do expect reasonable performance, reasonable  ride and lots of space. It does have road presence due to size but lets face it outside the US it is simply too big and outdated. Not to mention uses lots of petrol.

The Navigator is unlikely to make it to Australia like it's counter part the Ford Expedition so we've just made this observation as a essentially note that there are much large passenger cars available else where in the world. These large SUVs are of course a dying class since petrol costs make them uneconomical to own or run on  a daily basis.
