Does VMWare Fusion run Palm Desktop?

Yes. I installed Palm Desktop and the other installers that came with my Palm TX and all worked perfectly. Strangely Palm lists 4.1.4 as their latest version on the website but mine is a 2005 Palm Desktop is 4.2 – interesting.

When I connected my trusty Palm TX to the MacBook’s USB port it recognized it immediately and proceeded to the HotSync.

However when I tried the connection via bluetooth but it didn’t work. Couldn’t work out the settings! Mind you I never tried to sync via bluetooth on Windows.

There is a Apple Mac version of Palm desktop I could use but I’m happy with the Windows version.
