I haven’t posted for a little while because everything has been going with my installation. However I discovered recently that Version 1 and 1.1 has issues with copy and pasting content to more than one page at a time. It applies specifically to copy and pasting of Hyperlinks. It is minor but very annoying.
How did I install Windows XP on my Macbook?

How did I run Windows XP on my Mac?
Although running OSX Leopard I have a ton of programs collected in Windows over the years. Since I still use quite a few of them and do not want to spend more money replacing them – the solution was to either:
Use Bootcamp so the Mac can boot up to Windows XP
OR use Virtualisation software to run Windows XP.
I chose to use Virtualisation software, namely VMware Fusion to do it for me.
You could also try SWSOFT Parallels.
Apple’s Bootcamp is NOT the same thing.
As I said previously I wanted to be able to use the best Mac software while continue to use familiar Windows software at the same time. Besides Solitaire isn’t included on a Mac!
Apple Mac OSX Leopard issues

My Mac experience so far has been good but there are a few things that needs to be improved in OSX. Probably because they annoy me more than anything else. I’ll list only OS related applications rather than applications like iWeb and iSync etc..
1. Finder – I can’t see hidden files to find out why directories are taking up so much space. There doesn’t seem to be an option anywhere!
2. Selection – It does not auto select the entire line when you click on an input box.
3. Automator does not seem to work with Spaces.
4. Maximise the window it doesn’t do it!
5. Control, Option and Command buttons is not easy to get used to.
6. No easy way to create short-cuts to programs.
That said there are lots of things that are better and Windows Vista or XP but I’ll list those in another post.
