Here is a comparison between the Honda CR-V and the 2011 SsangYong Korando. SSangYong is a little known brand in most parts of the world and a manufacturer of all uniquely styled cars. SsangYong does not update the styling of its cars vary often and even less introduces to models to world very often. With very little pre-release announcements the newest Korrando can be purchase in various parts of the world this later this year. The Korando is a relatively compact size SUV designed for competition against the many and varied brands and models that have been increasing in popularity for the last 5 years. Small SUV are practical, fuel efficient and more capable and regular wagons in different terrain. We love them big or small! Read on to see what we think. |

Since we haven't driven it yet: The Korando is a very 'generic' small SUV. It is neither nice to look at or styled in the striking way that other SsanyYong models are designed. While all SUVs these days have their own style that differentiates them the Korando is just boring design mass market sort of design. There is not one line we can comment on. The interior is likewise unexceptional. The design is a simple and very normal. Again we can say that everything is nice about it and nothing bad about it. Thankfully there are a few interesting bits. First is the powerful diesel only engines and competitive price tag especially in 2WD only form. So if you want a value for money car than look further. That said we don't know how it drives but it would probable be average - in in with almost everything else about it. Overall the Korando is a perfect example of a generic car packaged in SUV format. If you transport is all you want than this is it. However there are plenty more models to look at for about the same price |
